The S.U.N. Assessment
Wise care starts with
knowing the person.
Before any caregiver crosses the threshold, we learn three things about your loved one — and build the care plan around them.
S
Smile
What makes them happy. The music, the routines, the small joys that make a day feel like their own — so care preserves the life, not just the schedule.
U
Understanding
Their health story, in plain language. The conditions, the patterns, the things to watch for — so the right caregiver arrives already informed.
N
Needs
What would genuinely improve quality of life — not a generic checklist. Care is matched to the person, then refined visit after visit.
What we do
Care matched to the day,
the person, and the moment.
Homemaker Services
Meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, and errands — so home stays comfortable and safe.
Respite Care
A few hours, a weekend, or a vacation off for family caregivers. You can't pour from an empty cup.
Parkinson's Care
Support that adjusts to a Parkinson's day — slow mornings, freezing episodes, steady patience.
Hospice Companion Support
Non-medical presence alongside a hospice team. Meal prep, family relief, a calm hand to hold.
Veteran Home Care

Every caregiver we refer clears all seven — before they're ever introduced to your family. Scroll the list.
Step 1
Application & in-person interview
Experience, temperament, and the question that matters most: would we welcome this person into our own parent's home?
Step 2
Level 2 AHCA background screening
Fingerprint-based, FBI and FDLE checked, state-cleared through the AHCA Clearinghouse — Florida's strictest screening tier.
Step 3
Credential verification
A valid Florida CNA certificate, or documented completion of 40+ hours of HHA training from an approved Florida program.
Step 4
CPR certification check
Current, hands-on CPR certification — verified, not self-reported.
Step 5
Communicable disease clearance
Current health statement on file before any in-home referral.
Step 6
Reference verification
We call. We ask the uncomfortable questions. Patterns matter more than polish.
Step 7
RN Administrator file review
A licensed Florida Registered Nurse personally reviews every credential file. Only then is a referral offered.

Who needs care?
Most of our first calls come from a son or daughter — often after a fall, a diagnosis, or a hard weekend. We'll listen first, explain your options in plain English, and never pressure a decision.
Talk it through — freeWhat families say
Quiet praise from the
people who matter most.
TrustWise found us a caregiver for my mother within 48 hours of her hospital discharge. The same person has come every weekday since — Mom looks forward to her visits, and I finally sleep through the night.
What I appreciated most was how clearly they explained everything — the flat rate, what the caregiver could and couldn't do, the Florida rules. No pressure, no upsell. Just honest answers.
After Dad's surgery we needed help fast. TrustWise sent a kind, calm CNA who fit right into our routine. When we asked for a small schedule change, our coordinator handled it the same day.

Trust & transparency
The honest version of how a
Florida nurse registry works.
We're a nurse registry under Florida law2 — we carefully vet credentialed CNAs and HHAs, then refer them to contract directly with your family. That structure is why one transparent flat rate is possible. You'll always know exactly who is coming, what it costs, and how to reach us.
Common questions
The questions families
ask first.
A Florida nurse registry is a state-licensed business that refers credentialed independent-contractor caregivers — like CNAs and Home Health Aides — to families who need non-medical care at home. Unlike a home health agency, the caregiver contracts directly with the client, which keeps costs lower and gives families a more consistent, personal relationship with the same caregiver over time. Both nurse registries and home health agencies are licensed by Florida's Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA), but only home health agencies are authorized to provide skilled nursing services like wound care or IV therapy.
No. Our flat rate is $34 per hour for standard personal care, companion, and homemaker services — every day, every hour. The only services priced separately are 24/7 live-in arrangements.
For most situations, we can complete a free in-home consultation within 24–48 hours and begin care shortly after. For urgent post-hospital discharges, please call us directly — we'll do everything reasonable to start the same day.
No. Florida nurse registries are not Medicare-certified — Medicare only covers care provided by Medicare-certified home health agencies, and only for medically necessary skilled services. We're happy to explain your options, including private pay, VA benefits, LTC insurance, and Medicaid waivers.
Every caregiver we refer has cleared a Level 2 AHCA background screening, holds current CPR certification, has documented communicable-disease clearance, and either holds a valid Florida CNA certificate or has documented completion of at least 40 hours of Home Health Aide training from an approved Florida program. We also verify professional references.
